Offer add-ons that add profit.

Add-ons that fit the product, are in stock and protect margin, judged on profit per visitor.

Sound familiar?

  • Recommendations ignore fit, stock and margin.
  • A discount lifts the basket and lowers the profit.
  • The attach rate looks healthy, and nobody knows what it earned.

An add-on that sells out, doesn’t fit or costs more than it earns makes the basket bigger and the month worse.

      Check fit, stock and margin

Compatibility, days of stock and a margin floor decide what can be offered.

Under 21 days, an add-on is held back

Stock decides what’s offered, so an add-on never points at a sold-out size.

How you’ll know it’s working.

  1. Contribution per visitor

Against visitors who weren’t shown the add-on, after returns.

  2. Attach rate

Good for diagnosis. It doesn’t say what the add-on earned.

  3. Purchase completion

An add-on that slows the cart can cost more than it adds.

We configure first
Shopify’s bundles and your platform’s built-in recommendations cover fixed pairings. We check what they miss: fit, stock and margin.
We build when
Offers should depend on margin and stock that your platform’s recommender doesn’t see.

What a first build includes.

Built in your accounts, around your team. Scope, fee and baseline agreed before we start.

  2. 2Build
  3. 3Run it, or hand it over

We build

  • Pairing and margin rules agreed with merchandising
  • Stock- and fit-aware offers at the cart
  • A holdout on every offer
  • A contribution readout, including what an offer displaced

We start from

  • Orders, returns and product margins
  • Stock by variant
  • Cart and subscription setup

Questions teams ask.

Can’t our platform’s recommender do this?

It can suggest items. It usually doesn’t know your margin floor or your days of stock. We start with what you have and add the rules it lacks.

Do bundle discounts pay?

Sometimes. A discount can raise the basket and lower contribution. That’s why every offer runs against a holdout and reads in profit, not basket size.

Who owns it once it’s running?

You do. It’s built in your accounts, documented, with training for the people who run it. Ownership usually sits with your head of ecommerce, with merchandising. We can keep running it with you, or step back.

How do we start?

Usually with a conversion review: two to four weeks, a fixed fee credited to the build, and a plan that’s yours. If the job is already clear, we can scope the build directly.
