Sound familiar?

  • Coupon sites take credit for orders that were already in the cart.
  • The same sale is counted by affiliates, creators and paid social.
  • Commission rates haven’t changed since the program launched.

Commission on sales you’d have made anyway comes straight out of margin.

What changes.

Where commission goes, before and after the new rules.

How you’ll know it’s working.

  1. New customers as a share of affiliate sales

The clearest sign a partner is adding demand.

  2. Commission as a share of profit

What the program costs against what it earns.

  3. Sales credited to more than one channel

    Overlap you’re paying for twice.

Questions teams ask.

Will cutting coupon sites hurt sales?

Sometimes a little, which is why we test it. A holdout on coupon partners shows how much of their credited sales would have happened anyway.

Do we need to switch affiliate platforms?

Rarely. Most networks support the rules we’d set. We’d only suggest a move for a specific gap, like payout flexibility or recruiting reach.

Who owns it once it’s running?

You do. It’s built in your accounts, documented, with training for the people who run it. Ownership usually sits with your head of growth or partnerships lead. We can keep running it with you, or step back.

How do we start?

Usually with a growth engine review: two to four weeks, a fixed fee credited to the build, and a plan that’s yours. If the job is already clear, we can scope the build directly.

Pay partners for what they bring. Start with a growth engine review.
